The Logic of Cause-and-Effect and The Structure of the Organization of Writing

「因果邏輯」，就「陰陽二元」來看，「因」為「陰」、「果」為「陽」，可以形成「先因後果」或「先果後因」之「移位」結構，也可以形成「因、果、因」或「果、因、果」之「轉位」結構，又可以形成「因中有果」或「果中有因」之「包孕」結構：更可以融貫為一，形成「螺旋」結構。如此多樣的互動變化，無論形成的是「對比式」或「調和式」，是會隨著時空、對象之不同而有所不同的。凡此，皆可用「多←→二←→一（0）」螺旋結構加以統合，以見「因果邏輯」在形成「章法結構」中所佔的重要地位。

The logic of cause-and-effect can be construed as “Yin-Yang dualism”, where “cause” is subject to “Yin” (the feminine attribute) and “effect” is “Yang” (the masculine). The sequence of cause and effect forms a shifting structure; the permutation of cause and effect forms a transferring structure; and the comprisement of each other forms a conceiving structure. All these can be integrated into a spiral structure. Such interactive and diversified forms, be they harmony or contrast, will vary depending on subject, time and space. The logic of cause-and-effect that constructs the structure of the organization of writing; therefore, forms a “multiple←→binary←→ single (zero)” spiral structure by means of shift, transfer and conceiveness.
