The logic of cause-and-effect can be construed as “Yin-Yang dualism”, where “cause” is subject to “Yin” (the feminine attribute) and “effect” is “Yang” (the masculine). The sequence of cause and effect forms a shifting structure; the permutation of cause and effect forms a transferring structure; and the comprisement of each other forms a conceiving structure. All these can be integrated into a spiral structure. Such interactive and diversified forms, be they harmony or contrast, will vary depending on subject, time and space. The logic of cause-and-effect that constructs the structure of the organization of writing; therefore, forms a “multiple←→binary←→ single (zero)” spiral structure by means of shift, transfer and conceiveness. |
