Language, Thinking and Method: A Dialogue between Chinese Philosophy, Westem Philosophy and Marxist Philosophy

本篇旨在針對中（中國哲學）、西（西洋哲學）、馬（馬克思主義哲學），經由對話、交流，冀求進一步之會通與融合之可能。廣泛地對中國當代哲學的話語、思考與方法，都做了深切而坦誠的交流。
首先，林安梧指出不能只是概括的去說中西哲學之為何，要入理的說，要如其經典的說，要如其事實的說。他指出徹底的反傳統主義者、新傳統主義者雖是對立的，但他們都犯了「方法論的本質主義」（methodological essentialism）的謬誤。要如何掙脫出文化的霸權，促成中西馬的真切互動，是當今中國哲學的首要課題之一。他以為中國哲學研究方法的「五證」：「文獻的佐證、歷史的考證、經驗的查證、心性的體證以及邏輯（論理）的辯證」。

This is a record of one seminar that is held in Wu-Han on September 16. 2005. This seminar is a dialogue between four important philosophers from Taiwan and Mainland China. The topics of this record are language, thinking and the method of Chinese philosophy. This dialogue reexamines the situation of Chinese philosophy in the perspective of dialogue and criticizes the methodological essentialism of anti-traditionalist, New- Confucianism, and Neo-traditionalist.
