華麗的色彩：張愛玲《傳奇》顏色詞探研

A Study of Eileen Chang's Use of Color Words in Chuan Qi

張愛玲的語言藝術，自其小說問世以來，一直引起讀者關注。由傅雷而起，不少論者高度讚揚張氏的語言成就。論者大體認為，張氏早期作品（1943-1945），最能代表她的風格，因而討論者眾；言其風格「華麗」，幾乎已成為了張氏作品最耳熟能詳的評鑑。然而，「華麗」論者多從語言的表象論之，說張氏的作品有「華美鮮艷的視覺意象」、「色彩濃厚」、「色彩鮮明」等，鮮能對「華麗」風格的構成原因加以討論。因此，本文以張氏早期小說集《傳奇》為對象，嘗試另闢蹊徑，從顏色詞入手，分析張氏運用顏色詞的形式和藝術特色，並說明如何通過顏色詞而構成其華麗風格，期望對張愛玲的語言風格，有更深刻的描述和剖析。

Beginning with her first novel, Eileen Zhang's literary technique has received widespread critical acclaim. Many have claimed that she produced her most representative work during her early period (1943–1945), for by this time she had already mastered the art of literary embellishment. Thus her work has been frequently praised for its visual splendor, rich color scheme, and vivid hues. This paper makes a detailed study of Chuan qi (傳奇 Short Stories), a collection of Chang's early work, with a focus on her use of the aesthetic characteristics of color words in developing her distinctive style.
