In 1991, the An-yang Archaeological Team excavated altogether 1583 oracle bones from a Yin ash-pit(H3) at Locus East of Huayuanzhuang on the Yin Ruins, An- yang. There is an important person called‘Tin’in Hua Tung oracle bones inscriptions. We believe that this‘Tin’is an equivalent of‘Wu-Tin’seen in other Shang materials. This essay analyzes the grammatical forms of the‘Tin’texts and brings together related materials in other 非王卜辭 to enhance our knowledge of the activities of early‘Wu-Tin’period. |
