CCS News and Activities(Vol.42 No.3)

The Center for Chinese Studies (CCS) held a luncheon for visiting scholars on June 3 to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival. Both scholars on CCS grants and those on Ministry of Foreign Affairs grants were invited. Held the day before the Dragon Boat Festival, the luncheon was a way to provide the scholars with experiences in traditional cultural activities. In all, 25 scholars attended from 18 countries, including America, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, Czech, Germany, Italy, Spain, Singapore, Israel, Nigeria, and Pakistan. Yin Yu-qi and Liang Yu-shan from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were also in attendance.
