International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) is an independent international NGO, with a formal relationship with the U.N.’s Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). It has observer status at the United Nations, and in 1999 was also granted observer status at the World Trade Organization. Currently there are over 1,600 members of IFLA throughout the world. National Central Library was honored to have IFLA President Ellen Tise visit our facilities from April 21 to 26. |
