Space and Cultural Places: Cultural Interpretations of Mobility / Edited Wang Ayling/Published by the Center for Chinese Studies Space and Cultural Places: Imagery, Practice and Social Production / Edited Huang Yingkui /Published by the Center for Chinese Studies In March 2008, the Center for Chinese Studies and College of Liberal Arts at National Taiwan University, College of Liberal Arts at National Chung Hsing University, and Institute of Chinese Literature and Philosophy at Academia Sinica jointly held the 'International Conference on the Cultural Interpretations of Mobility.' A total of 25 papers was presented at the conference by scholars from the United States, Australia, Japan, Taiwan and other countries. The conference formed an editorial board to compile the papers for publication and resulted in two volumes entitled Space and Cultural Places: Cultural Interpretations of Mobility and Space and Cultural Places: Imagery, Practice and Social Production. Both volumes were published by the Center for Chinese Studies in October 2009.
