Chinese Culture University (CCU) Library is the first library in Taiwan to bring audio-visual library resources into the YouTube age. The library has anted up about NT$10 million to distribute nearly 1,000 videos from its 'One Class a Week' symposiums to the public through the popular video-sharing service. The video's became accessible around-the-clock from October 2, 2008, with classes on everything from music to literature. In addition to expanding access to these educational resources, the YouTube-distributed videos will increase traffic flow through YouTube, representing a win-win situation for CCU, YouTube, and Google. |
