National Central Library Web Archive Taiwan Project Network resources have become an important channel of information in our present day. Its richness and diversities can provide the general public with their need to search for information and for the academic world, research and references. It is therefore necessary to carry out the preservation of website content from the point of view of resource conservation and assistance to scholarly research. Today,“web archive” has become a task undertaken by national libraries of countries in documents conservation. In the process of carrying out national documents conservation, “web archive” is an important responsibility that cannot be ignored. Considering the above-mentioned reasons, the National Central Library, in the year 2007, started to establish the National Central Library Web Archive Pilot System.
