NCL Joins International Conference on Confucianism in Vietnam The International Conference on Confucianism in Vietnam was jointly held by the Vietnam Research Institute of Han-Nom (VRIHN) and Harvard-Yenching Institute on November 9 to 10, 2007, at the VRIHN in Hanoi, Vietnam. About 140 scholars came from the United States, France, Australia, Japan, China, Singapore, the Russian Federation, Taiwan and Vietnam. Taiwan was represented at the conference by Prof. Wang San-ching and Prof. Chen Yi-yuan of National Cheng Kung University, Prof. Keng Hui-ling of Chaoyang University of Technology, and Director Ophelia Liu Chun-yin of the Institute of Chinese Literature and Philosophy Library at Academia Sinica
