The NCL held a series of courses introducing the library’s “E-Learning Campus” system on May 22. The courses, which were open to both librarians and the general public, introduced the programs and operating environment of the E-Learning Campus. Most of the courses focused on the new E-Learning Campus programs for 2005. The NCL’s Ms. Cheng Pao-mei provided a general overview of the E-Learning Campus system; Director Chou Ching-ju of the Taipei Public Library introduced courses on “Library Promotion and Marketing” and “Utilizing Children’s Books and Information”; Mr. Ping Kuei of the Department of Library and Information Science at Fu Jen Catholic University introduced “Multimedia Information Creation and Collection Management”; and Mr. Lin You-jen of Sun.net introduced the E-Learning Campus functions and learning environment.
