NCL and CCS Participate in 2006 AAS Annual Meeting and Book Exhibition The Association for Asian Studies (AAS) held its 58th Annual Meeting and book fair in Dan Francisco on April 7, 2006. Association members attended the grand event from across the globe, including grand event from across the globe, including representatives from the NCL and Center for Chinese Studies (CCS). The NCL and CCS also organized highly successful book exhibits, the highlights of which are summarized below: 1. Showcasing diversity of book acquisitions and Taiwan’s academic world Works on display were dominated by titles in the humanities and social sciences published in Taiwan over the past three years.
