Taipei City Library Fair

The Taipei Municipal Library held its 1999 Fair on December 5, highlighting the distinctive services and events offered at the various branches of the library system. One such event is the 'Resident Author' program organized by the Taofan Branch, which invites writers to speak once a month on such topics as Taiwan literature, the writing experience, and how to write a novel. The Yungchien Branch, located near the Examination Yuan, posts examination schedules for the convenience of the public. The Hsihu Branch distinguishes itself through its musical offering, hosting music appreciation nights and biographical films on musicians. The Taipei Municipal Chinese Music Orchestra also often holds community recitals at the branch.
