利用氣相層析法測定藥材中黃樟素之含量

QUANTITATIVE DETERMINATION OF SAFROLE IN CRUDE DRUGS BY GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY

於75年9月至76年5月間，自全省北中南三區價購細辛、當歸、八角茴香、肉豆蔻、桂皮五種藥材以及荖藤之未熟果（俗稱荖花）與九層塔等共計一百五十件，以水蒸氣蒸餾法抽取其精油，並利用氣相層析法於層析管：25% Carbowax 20M；檢測器：FID；溫度：Program 100～180℃ 2℃/min 之條件下分析其中黃樟素（Safrole）之含量，其結果為：細辛：233～6209ppm；肉豆蔻：212～248ppm；桂皮：33～424ppm；八角苗香：20～103ppm；當歸：16～40ppm；九層塔（鮮品）：1～25ppm；九層塔（乾燥品）：未檢出；荖藤之未熟果：5649～8843ppm。

The contents of Safrole in crude drugsknown to contain safrole according to the literature were determined by gas chromatography after steam distillation. The safrole contained in Asiasarum sieboldi was in the range of 233~6209ppm; in Myristica fragrans, 212～248ppra; in Cinnamomum cassia, 33～424ppm; in Illicium verum, 20～103ppm; in Angelica sinensis, 16～40ppm; in Ocimum basilicum (fresh), 1～25ppm; in Ocimum basilicum (dry), not detected and in the unripe fruits of Piper betle, 5649～8843ppm. While has been proved to be Carcinogenic, the results would be helpful for evaluating the safety of crude drugs.
