市售體香劑化妝品TRICLOSAN, TRI-CHLOROCARBANILIDE, HEXACHLOROPHENE之品質調查

INVESTIGATION OF PRESERVATIVES AND NITRITE OF MEAT PRODUCTS IN EASTERN PART OF TAIWAN

台灣地處亞熱帶且四面環海，相對濕度偏高，造成人們容易流汗，對於汗腺（特別是腋下）過於發達的人而言，身體會產生異味、狐臭。在工商業發達，人與人接觸日趨頻繁的今天，為了禮貌起見，體香劑的使用就如同其他化粧品一樣重要。一般而言，體香劑所含成分可分為三類，其一為汗腺抑制劑，如Aluminum Chlorohydrate等，可減少汗量排出，其二為抑菌劑，如Triclosan等，具有抑菌作用，可防止細菌與排汗醱酵而產生異味，其三為香料，具有遮蓋臭味的功用。而汗腺抑制劑與抑菌劑在市售體香劑中可混合使用或單獨使用。

In order to understand the adulteration of triclosan, trichlorocarbanilide, hexachlorophene in marketed products of deodorants, 30 samples were purchased during the 1991 fiscal year. These samples were identification by thin-layer chromatography to see whether they contained triclosan, trichlorocarbanilide, or hexachlorophene. Once the results were shown to be positive, the method of high performance liquid chromatography would be further used to determine the contents. The results indicated that 5 samples (16.7%) were adulterated with triclosan, 2 samples (6.7%) were adulterated with hexachlorophene.
