561 samples of preserved fruit were collected in Taiwan area. The moisture content was first determinated. Secondly Saccharin, Cyclamate and Dulcin were analyzed qualitatively by means of PC (Paper Chromatography). Finally, the contens of Saccharin and Cyclamate were determinated by HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) and GC (Gas Chromatography), respectively. The results showed that 244 in 561 Samples (43.49%) didn't meet the Chinese National Standard. Amony the 244 samples, there were 218 out of 297 samples for which the moisture (content) was tested to be above 25% and 26 out of 264 samples for which the moisture content was tested to be below 25%. |
