Objective: In order to understand the inpatient experience of receiving medical care, as an important basis for the hospital to provide continuous improvement of the quality of service. Materials and methods: A total of 550 questionnaires was sampled annually using the “Inpatient Experience Survey” from the Medical Quality Policy Office of the Ministry of Health and Welfare. The indicators were calculated according to the 5 Likert Scale to assess the quality of medical care received by the inpatients in the hospital. Results: 446 valid questionnaires were collected. Patients were most dissatisfied with “overall assessment of hospitalization” and “appropriateness of hospital self-financed amounts”. These items should be included in priority issues for improvement. Conclusion: The inpatient Experience Survey was included in the routine survey. The results were immediately feedback to the relevant departments, and the results were tracked and evaluated. The patients will interview for qualitative analysis to understand the experience of inpatients in medical care. |
