The production and distribution integration for supply chain is tending more complex. In general, the information systems installed in enterprises are provided with data collection and transition function rather than operational planning decision support. From the perspective of supply chain resource allocation, the paper proposes solution to solve the integration problem of production and distribution. The first step is an integrated MILP model which considers both production and distribution constraints. The second step is a heuristic algorithm which carries out a feasible plan quickly. Also, the solutions are tested for effectiveness and efficiency. Several scenarios are carried out to demonstrate the quality. With computational result analysis, the heuristic is shown to be more efficient in solving production-distribution problems than MILP models. |
