國際標準視聽著作號(ISAN)：新視聽內容識別碼

A Study on International Standard Audiovisual Number (ISAN): The New Audiovisual Content Identifier

國際標準視聽著作號（International Standard Audiovisual Number，簡稱ISAN）是識別視聽著作的自願性標準號碼，且為視聽著作唯一的永久性國際識別碼。2002年，國際標準組織（International Organization for Standardization，簡稱ISO）出版ISO 15706國際標準視聽著作號（ISAN）。2007年，ISO又發布ISO15706-2，將ISAN擴展以支援視聽著作版本的識別，亦即國際標準視聽著作號第2部：版本識別碼（V-ISAN）。鑒於ISAN及V-ISAN具獨特性、國際性及永久性，其推行對於圖書館視聽資料的組織和管理具有重大意義，在不同商業及以消費者為焦點的資料庫系統間可便利電子資訊交換，本研究藉國家圖書館專案計畫研究小組的成立，經由文獻分析法、訪談法及座談法，擬了解ISAN的結構、應用範圍與編碼方式，並規畫研訂符合我國需求之ISAN國家標準（草案）及實施ISAN作業制度所需條件與推動方式。

International Standard Audiovisual Number (ISAN) is a voluntary numbering system enabling the identification of any audiovisual works (both works and versions of works), and provides a unique, internationally recognized and permanent reference number. ISAN was published in 2002 as ISO 15706, Information and documentation-International Standard Audiovisual Number (ISAN). In 2007, the ISAN standard was extended to support version identification with V-ISAN as ISO 15706-2. Because of many benefits of ISAN, by formation of a study group on ISAN with discussion meetings, the authors investigate the structure, application and numbering of ISAN from web resources, and draft ISAN national standard in Taiwan, try to plan the possible implementation systems here.
