臺灣流行閱讀的上海連環圖畫(1945-1949)

戰後臺灣社會面臨到語言文字的轉換與經濟的變動，原本慣讀日文書的民眾，可讀的日文書越來越少，市面上的中文圖書不但極少，且價格昂貴，而這些中文圖書對初學國語的人來說，又過於艱深不易閱讀；此時上海本連環圖畫傳入臺灣，文字少又有圖，重要的是它是以租賃的方式流通於市面，只要花少許的租金，即可閱讀，於是很快地流行於大街小巷；本文所要探討的即是這股閱讀流行潮，所討論時間從1945到1949年政府遷臺後切斷了上海連環圖畫來臺為止。飽受爭議的上海本連環圖畫多以石版印刷出版，紙張菲薄，保存不易，過去又是常被取締的對象，以致那時期的連環圖畫保存下來的絕少，無法找到當時所流通的版本，本文僅能就圖書目錄的文獻資料來探討，並嘗試以當時報章社論的論述報導，作一閱讀史的回顧，探討連環圖畫它的讀者有那些？它流行的原因及所帶來的社會面象為何？而當時社會對連環圖畫的觀點又如何？

The comic-strip published by Shanghai was popular in Taiwan in postwar period, because it was easy to be acquired by rental. This article mainly discusses on the reading trend from 1945 to 1949. It also became a controversial issue at that time. The comic-strip was almost lithoprint and baned because the quality of lithoprint was not so good, hard to be reserved. It leads to the comic-strip is seldom circulated nowadays. The article explores the reader groups, the reasons and influences of the comic-strip, and the point of view about the comic-strip during that period according to the only existed document of catalog.
