The Taipei Public Library plans to build a self-help (RFID) library at one of Taipei Metropolitan Rapid Transit (MRT) stations. A reading survey is required to investigate the passengers' reading needs at three Taipei subway stations-ZhongXiao Fuxing Station, Ximen Station, and Taipei Main Station. According to 1,007 passengers' questionnaires, the study finds that passengers in three subway stations differ on reading motivation, subway usage, reading material selection, and reading habits. Among them, the passengers in ZhongXiao Fuxing Station have the highest reading interests and needs. The results will provide Taipei Public Library for reference to select and establish the first REID library in Taipei subway station. |
