According to one of Ten Major Infrastructure Projects, Cultural Centers have been built in Taiwan from 1981 to 1987. After 12 years, the government budgeted for Expansion Plans from 1995 to 1999, and into the first cycle of the building renovations. During the period of the second cycle renovation (2007~2011), the government allowance for renovation funds again. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the renovation expenses and trend of Cultural Center. This research is based on data from twice central government subsidies for construction items and funds of expansion plans and renovation plan and to gather statistics and classify. These are categorized into two major parts: safety and function, in order to discuss the proportion of used items to repaired costs in each space. The results show that the trend of repaired costs is increasing at indoor public space and outdoor space during 12 years. Renovation items shifted from the first period space and facilities expanding into the second period equipment replace and waterproofing work. This result accords with the government policy aim. |
