A Three-year Case Study of TCM Treatment of Necrotizing Lung Abscess Caused Due to Wegener's Granulomatosis

韋格納肉芽腫（WG）是一種少見而病理生理學不清楚的系統性血管炎。它通常會影響上呼吸道、肺以及腎。目前類固醇和cyclophosphamide的合併使用帶給大多數病人緩解，但復發經常發生。這是一個韋格納肉芽腫病人接受中藥治療後顯示出在壞死性肺膿瘍的改善，還有對於這疾病過程三年的追蹤。

Wegener's Granulomatosis (WG) is an uncommon disease. There is no known cause of WG. It is a form of systemic vasculitis that affects the lungs, kidneys and upper airway. Initial treatment is generally with corticosteroids and cyclophosphamide (CYC). This combined therapy can ease the symptoms of most patients, but there is a high rate of recurrence. The subject of this three-year case study is a patient with Wegener's Granulomatosis. After receiving TCM treatment, his necrotizing lung abscess has significantly improved.
