This study investigates antecedents of individuals' knowledge network flows. We examined the influence of individual-and team-level antecedents and employed hierarchical linear modeling (HLM) to test our hypothesis. Our results showed that an individual's social ability is positively related to an individual's knowledge flows. Better social ability of an employee demonstrates more significant knowledge share behavior. Furthermore, team-context is relative to individuals' knowledge share behavior. When individuals perceive the importance of networking, their knowledge share behavior is more apparent. |
