The objectives of this study were: 1. to analyze the differences between different types of Sport Tourists in Participation motivation, Recreation Experience and Well-being; 2. to explore the relations between Participation motivation, Recreation Experience and Well-being in Sport Tourists; 3. to explore the predicative power of Participation Motivation and Recreation Experience to Sport Tourists Well-Being. The subjects were 690 cyclists selected from Dajia Matsu Pilgrimage Procession of bike, Swimming across The Sun Moon Lake and Yilan Hot Spring Festival of Marathon Race Event. The subjects were administered “Participation Motivation Inventory”, “Recreation Experience Inventory” and “Well-being Inventory”. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test (independent), one-way ANOVA (independent), Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple stepwise regression analysis. The findings were as follows: 1. There were differences on demographic variable and sports types of Sport Tourists. 2. There is positive correlation between “Participation Motivation” and “Recreation Experience” and Well-being sports on Sport Tourists. 3. The “Participation Motivation” and “Recreation Experience” could effectively predict Well-being on Sport Tourists. Based on the results and findings of this study, some applications and further research suggestions were offered. |
