目的:探討醫事人員、護理人員和行政人員之健康體適能的差異,並瞭解員工健康體能的情況。方法:323位員工參加評估,包含醫師及醫事人員組106位、護理人員組111位以及行政人員組有106位。所有受試者接受身體組成、肌力測驗、柔軟度測驗與心肺適能等體適能檢測。結果:護理組之手握力低於醫師及醫事組和行政組(F=15.827,p<0.001),醫師及醫事組之登階指數高於行政組和護理組(F=5.086,p<0.001),其餘項目三組間無顯著差異。三組之肥胖比例並無顯著差別。比對常模後發現,男性在BMI和腰臀比以「適當」佔最多數,而女性是BMI「略瘦」和腰臀比「適當」居多;男女性在手握力皆「普通」居多且坐姿體前彎均呈現「很好」的趨勢;男性登階指數以「略差」最多,女性則是「普通」佔多數。結論:本研究採用簡易又安全的方法檢測醫院員工之體適能,除了有助於員工自我健康管理,亦可做為醫院管理者在員工照顧政策之參考。 |

Purpose : The aim of this study was to investigate the differences in physical fitness between medical staff, nurses and administrative staff, and to determine the health status of hospital employees. Methods : A total of 323 volunteers were recruited from the staff of a general hospital in Taichung. These included 106 medical personnel, 111 nurses and 106 administrative personnel. All subjects received tests of body composition, muscle strength, flexibility, and cardiopulmonary fitness. Results: The grip strength of nurses was significantly poorer than that of medical staff and administrative staff (F=15.827, p< .001). The physical fitness index for medical staff was greater than those for nurses and administrative staff (F=5.086, p< .001) There were no significant differences between groups in body mass index (BMI), waist-hip ratio (WHR), trunk flexibility and rate of obesity. Compared to the norms in Taiwan, the majority of males’BMI and WHR values were appropriate. For females the BMI was slightly thin and the WHR was appropriate. Most male and female workers had appropriate grip strength and greater than average trunk flexibility. On the physical fitness index, most males were slightly poorer and females were appropriate. Conclusions : Simple and safe methods can be used to evaluate the physical fitness of a hospital staff. In addition to providing information for the management of personal health, the evaluation can also be utilized by hospital administrators as reference for health policy. |
