Children’s health and its related factors among women with transnational marriages in Taiwan Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the association between the demographical and socioeconomic factors of foreign immigrant women, Chinese women, and Taiwanese men's and children's health. Methods: This cross-sectional study employs secondary data. According to “The Serve of life condition by foreign immigrant women and Chinese women” from the Ministry of the Interior. Results: The children's health wasn't associated with mother's original nationality, age while giving a birth and education. The children's health was associated with mother's work and the time of living in Taiwan. The children's health was associated with father's work and health.Conclusion: This study, children’s health wasn’t associated with mother’s original nationality, but the unhealthy father (Taiwanese men), his children's health is relatively apt to suffer from the developmental delays, disabilities and critical illness. |
