The paper is a study of co-opetition at Alliance level. For the purpose of analysis of two healthcare strategic networks’ co-opetitive relationship and their network typologies, structural and advantages. This article focuses on the unit of analysis at alliancelevel, and analyzes the content of interviews with the major executive managers of these two alliances. There are several findings as follows : first of all, different typologies between them : one is radius and axis networks, the other is nodal-linked networks; the second, different goals between them, one is for accessing the compensatory resources and the other is for increasing market share; the third, networks governance are similar between them : govern by decision-making teams in the central hospitals without establishing representative committee; finally, differences in group-based advantages. And, in this stage of network competition, the co-opetition phenomena between these two groups at network-level didn't emerge in the research. |
