The purpose of this study is to promote the importance of labor safety and the prevention of vocational accidents. The study consists of the comparison of related labor laws and requlations, accident analysis, and field investigation. The safety awareness of sample population has also been included in the research. The methodologies used in this research were: 1. Comparison: The major differences and similarities of laws reqarding labor safety between the ROC and Japan have been compared and logged. 2. Analysis: Several accident cases have been analyzed; the causes have been interviewed to obtain legitimate facts. Those groups were: experts, scholars, employers, employees, and educational, training organizations both in the ROC and Japan. 4. Questionnaire: To realize the safety awareness of employers and employees, a questionnaire has been developed, pilot-tested, revised and then issued to respondents through stratified random sampling. The conclusions were drawn from the analysis of the 549 questionnaires returned. |
