For both textual and literary criticism, research into Lu Hsun's Ah-Q has already reached its saturation point; therefore we rarely find any new directions coming from recent topics of discussion. However, from the stimulus provided from the discussion of ressentiment from the German philosopher Max Scheler, the present author has been inspired to renew the examination of Ah-Q's anger as a form of emotional expression, which involves the understandings and discourses of the phenomenology of emotions and the philosophy of value. |
