The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of pictorials of labels of dangerous materials, educational background, and gender on conceptual compatibility of users. Pictorial of dangerous materials was divided into twelve levels. Educational background was divided into three levels: engineering, business, and literature. The study was divided into two stages: before and after dangerous materials labels training. Results showed that pictorials of labels of dangerous materials did significantly affect conceptual compatibility. But, educational background and gender did not significantly affect conceptual compatibility. In addition, conceptual compatibility was significantly affected by training. |
