大專院校實驗室等場所安全氣候量表之發展

Developing A Safety Climate Scale in University and College Laboratories

本研究旨在發展具有效度及信度之安全氣候量表。經廣泛地文獻探討，發展五○個題項的問卷，並經過專家審查及預試。經項目分析、效度分析及信度分析之後，保留四十六個題項。最後，探索性因素分析結果，安全氣候量表產生五個因素，分別為「決策高層承諾與行動」、「管理階層承諾與行動」、「個人安全承諾」、「緊急應變」及「風險知覺」，該五因素解釋整體變異量之 66.18%。另外，整體量表的內部一致性 Cronbachα則為 0.9516。根據本研究結果，可以歸結為該量表具有良好之效度及信度，可作為我國大專院校評量實驗室等場所安全氣候之用。

The main purpose of this study is to develop a reliable and valid Safety Climate Scale (SCS). Based on an extensive review of the literature, a 50-item questionnaire was developed, reviewed by experts and tried out. Item analysis, validity analysis, and reliability analysis were carried out, and a 46-item questionnaire was finalized. Finally, the exploratory factor analysis of the SCS resulted in five factors such as top management’s commitment and action, managers’ commitment and action, personal commitment to safety, emergency response, and perceived risk. Those factors explained 66.18% of the total variance. Moreover, the internal consistency of the total scale reached a Cronbach α value of 0.9516. According to the results of this study, it is concluded that the scale is valid and reliable, and it can be used to measure the safety climate of Laboratories, pilot plants of universities and colleges in Taiwan.
