In the last decade, the advance of network technology provides ubiquitous networking capabilities for interconnecting to everything between humans and kinds of smart objects. A data-processing platform should be able to natively deal with big data in the Internet of Things (IoTs) world. Accordingly, here comes the Hadoop which embraces the IoTs. This paper demonstrates how to create photographic mosaics based on K-Medoids algorithm using a Hadoop API based framework in a more efficient way and compares it to the results proposed by Szul and Bednarz. In the research, the proposed method find the similar image to the target image by using the clustering algorithm, K-Medoids algorithm, rather than exhaustively search. Therefore, the efficiency of composing mosaic image is increased. The quality of mosaic image could be maintained in a certain human eye perception. |
