從旅行文學中的希臘眾生理解希臘債務危機

Common People in Travel Literature and the Greek Debt Crisis

本文採用以希臘為主題的旅行文學書籍，分析作者們所觀察到的希臘經濟 產業、觀光業服務態度、商店營業時間以及部分公共服務部門。透過旅行文學作 者的觀察，希臘愛琴海島嶼的觀光產業能夠有效營運的時間僅約半年，在本島的 淡季天氣不佳，亦無吸引觀光客的要素。而在觀光產業之外，希臘並無其它重要 產業，曾經繁榮過的造船與航運均已沒落。且在有限的營運時間中，希臘觀光從 業人員的服務態度以主要觀光島嶼較佳，愛琴海次要的觀光島嶼仍有很大的改善 空間。從側面觀察，希臘公共服務部門中則以觀光部門進步最明顯。透過旅行文 學中所觀察到的希臘人民，自古即面對各種困難的生存環境時，無論是選擇勇敢 離鄉闖蕩；積極接受挑戰追求進步；或僅是過著真正的儉樸生活，希臘人民自有 應對困境的智慧。旅行文學中讓我們認識在財務數字之外的另一種希臘印象。

There are many ways to discuss Greek debt crisis. In this article， I used the travel literature focus on the Greece， to analyze what the authors observed about Greek economy， tourism service， store hours and some public services. From the result， we can know that the period of the Aegean islands tourism industry can be effectively operated only about half a year， the weather is so poor in the off-season. In addition to the tourism industry， no other important industries in Greece， shipbuilding and shipping industries once flourished had been declined. Within limited operating time， the attitude of the Greek tourism practitioners is better in major tourist islands， the service of tourism practitioners is still much room for improvement in minor Aegean islands. About the Greek public services sector， the tourism sector progress the most. The Greek， in the face of all the difficulties of living environment， regardless of the choice to leave their homes bravely to chase their dream; accept the challenge and to fight for progress; or just live truly frugal life. The Greek people own the wisdom to cope with difficulties. Travel literature gives us another look about Greek other than the financial numbers.
