The purpose of this study intends to explore the three-staged techniques employed in regular statistics vs. those of new statistics formula. And the average scoring rate and usage rate performance analysis in four matches for Korean athlete Lee Jung-woo who attended the 2005 Chinese Taipei Table Tennis Tournament were explored, and the findings are as follow: (1) Lee Jung-woo primarily employed the scoring techniques like the stage in serving the ball to attack in addition to stage in receiving the serve to attack. It does not matter whether it employs regular or the new statistics method, his scoring drives in the two previous stages exhibited considerably high level and stability wise. Nevertheless, in the combinations of third, fifth and fourth, sixth strikes, his techniques were found as rather immature. And during the stalemate stage, it is generally treated as his weakest with technique performance rated less than qualified at best. And these observations were expected to be used as references for our athletes in the future. (2) The new statistics method can allow effective observations for technique and bridging qualities for the third, fifth strikes and the fourth, sixth strikes during table tennis match tactics deployment, and it is definitely facilitating the technique tactics diagnosis and analysis for athletes in proceeding to technique tactics training. In addition, this research is expected to be used as references for deploying the table tennis three-staged tactics assessment system in the end. |
