Located at the junction of Eurasian countries, with 98% Muslims, Turkey is a country living on the brink of crisis. Eurasia is a region with complicated ethnic composition, economic backwardness, and social unrest. This paper attempts to depict how Turkey develops its relationship with China based upon such a uniquely strategic region. The article indicates that Turkey takes flexible and balanced approaches to its foreign relations. Turkey tries to maximize its diplomatic benefits from a comprehensive strategy, but it also takes a risk in coping with complicated relations among the regional and global powers. |
