Data Mining has been widely used in various fields, exploring the lots of valuable information and knowledge. Organizations are attach importance to the management and development for human resource on competency, but most of the references are explored the construction of competency model or the evaluation of training achievement, the competency data are rarely used to explore the association and the trends on individuals' and organizational members' competency. This study is aimed to explore the competency gap between self-and others- evaluation analysis, and build the training needs predicting models by using Data Mining. The data collected from the Taiwan municipalities government 360-degree competency assessment. The results show that (1) using 360 degree competency assessment model to find out the competency gap and competency status for developing the sequence of educational training needs.(2)we build the training needs predicting models, the accuracy of the models are above 70%.This results could provide the reference for planning the educational training strategy, in order to achieve the purpose of the organization to improve the overall lean human resources training. |
