Liang Shu-ming was a humanistic educational thinker. He endeavored to solve the social, economic and political problem in China in 1920’s. He thought that the educational reformation could promote the social, economic and political achievement. Liang Shu-ming’s culture theory was the foundation of social educational thought. This study is divided into six sections. They are: (1) the introduction including research motivation, purpose, methodology, and scope. (2) to review the important events of Liang Shu-ming’s life and background of his thought. (3) the foundations of Liang Shu-ming’s social educational thought. (4) the system of Liang Shu-ming’s thought. (5) the critical analysis of Liang Shu-ming’s social educational thought. (6) the conclusion and suggestion. |
