本文旨在探討偏鄉地區國中生,其網路使用行為與人格特質之間的關係,本研究採用五大人格特質量表與網路使用行為問卷為評量基礎,並以100位南投縣某一偏鄉地區國中八年級學生為研究對象,透過正向歸納與反向驗證方式去探討偏鄉地區國中生網路使用行為與人格特質間的關聯性。本研究的結論如下:(1)偏鄉地區國中生因為受到偏鄉地區特殊的地理與家庭社經環境影響,其網路使用現況與其他地區國中生的使用現況是有些差異的。(2)偏鄉地區國中生使用網路的功能與項目以及其使用的動機,明顯的受到偏鄉地區生活環境的需求以及其生活所需的工具而影響,並且呈現相當的一致性。(3)不同人格特質的偏鄉地區國中生,使用這些網路功能與項目時,其內涵的動機與目的則是有所差異的。This study aims to investigate the correlation between personality and Internet use behavior of the junior high school students living in the remote area of Central Taiwan. We adopted Big-Five Personality Traits and Internet use behavior questionnaires as measurements, and recruited 100 eighth-grade students of a junior high school in the remote area of Central Taiwan for this study. Moreover, we make use of a methodology consisting of forward induction and reverse validation in this study. The results of this study include: (1) Currently, in the remote area, the students' Internet use behavior is partially different from the other students' Internet use behavior due to the special geographical, social, and economic conditions in the remote area. (2) The Internet services/functions used by the students as well as the motivations of using Internet services/functions are not only influenced by but also correspond to the requirements and the tools needed in their daily life. (3) The students' motivations and purposes of using some Internet services/functions vary according to the students' different personality traits. |
