還少丹為補益良藥，具有補腎養心，益陰壯陽的作用。本研究在探討長期餵食不同濃度還少丹對2 月齡及6 月齡老化促進小白鼠（senescence-accelerated mouse prone-8 ；SAM-P8 ）減緩老化之影響，並比較不同年齡間之差異。實驗結果顯示，雄性2 月及6 月齡小鼠餵食添加0.50% 與1.00% 還少丹組可以減緩老化的進行，且均達統計上之差異（p < 0.05 ）；但在雌性2 月及6 月齡小鼠則沒有顯著的差異。Huan-Shao-Dan is one of Tonifying formulas listed officially in the Chinese pharmacopoeia and is recommended in traditional Chinese medicine as a cardiac and kidney tonic together as a Yi & Yang fortifier. In this study, we attempt to investigate the effect of Huan-Shao-Dan on aging retardation in two-month-old and six-month-old senescence accelerated mice (SAM-P8) for 16 weeks. Result showed the aging retarding activity of Huan-Shao-Dan in two-month-old male mice and six-month-old male mice was 0.50% (p < 0.05) and 1.00% (p < 0.05), respectively. In summary, we conclude that supplement of Huan-Shao-Dan could retard the aging of male mice. |
