Eight compounds were isolated and identified. Their structures were determined on the basis of spectral evidence as well as direct comparison with authentic samples. These components included lupeol (1), mixture of stigmasterol and β -sitosterol (2), betulin (3), indigo (4), indirubin (5), 2-benzoxazolinone (6), 2-hydroxy-1,4–benzoxazin-3-one (7), and 4- hydroxy-3-methoxy benzoic acid (8). Among these, compound 6-8 were isolated for the first time from this plant. |
