Electoral Politics and Indigenous Development

鑑於當前學界對原住民族選舉議題的關心和研究仍明顯不足。本文以2014 年九合一原住民選舉案例，做為主要研究資料來源，並從選舉競爭與民族發展的觀點切入，探究台灣原住民族選舉政治和制度的現況和問題，並提出若干未來改革方向。

The current research issues involving elections of Indigenous peoples are apparently and deliberately ignored. Then, in this article, we analyze the outcome of 2014 Taiwan local nine-in-one elections (which are the Municipal and County Mayors and Councilors, Chiefs and Councilors of indigenous districts in municipalities, Township Chiefs and Councilors, and chiefs of village). We then examine the present situation and issues on electoral system of Taiwan Indigenous people and offering some positive advises.
