Studies on the Cardiovascular Active Principles from Formosan Plants

心臟血管病變是國內十大死因之一，而血小板凝集是造成血管血桂症之主要原因。近幾年來，有多數之抗血小板凝集成分被分離，其中不少亦對心臟血管系統有顯著之活性，故由天然物或合成化合物經由抗血小板凝集作用篩選以找出影響心臟血管活性之成分，此對心臟血管藥物之設計與發展應有很大之助益。

Cardiovascular disease is one of the top ten mortality in Taiwan area while platelets play the most important role of thrombogenesis. Recently, many active principles with antiplatelet aggregation have been isolated and the action mechanisms of some active principles also evidenced. Several active principles were also found having activities on cardiovascular system. The development of cardiovascular drugs via the screening way of antiplatelet effects from natural products become more feasible now.
