The Downfall of Shu Han (蜀漢): A Perspective of Ethnical Policy and Regional Conflicts

本文以譙周（201-270）在蜀漢滅亡前夕（221-263）的言論為起點，探討民族政策與地域衝突如何促使了政權的滅亡。諸葛亮（182-234）以及其繼承人一直未有嘗試調和國內不同勢力的衝突，並改以軍事管治的手段處理。所謂南征與北伐，反映了政權在這方面的特點。由這個角度觀察，姜維（202-264）避走漢中、譙周力主投降乃至後主（漢孝懷帝，207-271，223-263 在位）放棄南撤等一系列問題便容易理解。

This review examines Sabine Fruhstuck's book, which is mainly based on her personal experiences of in Japan Self-Defense Force (SDF)base, and makes positive remarks on Fruhstuck's discussions of the SDF's role in Japanese society, including how women were accepted by SDF, how Japanese society saw women self-defense forces, and how Japanese officials positively shaped the collective memory of SDF. Fruhstuck's study sets an innovative model of the socio-cultural research on SDF and feminism.
