This paper describes occupant satisfaction experiment to measure indoor thermal environment effects, and aimed to explore determinants on a situation model of indoor thermal environment in Taiwan. The research set up six situation models in a laboratory to survey the psychological satisfaction questionnaire of persons who are examined under different environmental situations, and test the influence on productivity. From the statistical analysis of the investigation result: the productivity is influenced by indoor thermal environmental quality, and the best situation model of investigations for individuals is on the environmental condition of 'the temperature is 22.0℃ and the humidity is 60 %.'Furthermore, the statistical analysis showed that an optimum indoor thermal environment of 'the temperature is 22.0℃ and the humidity is 40% and 60 % can promote work efficiency best in this study. |
