Housing is the main type of the existed buildings in Taiwan. As it fails to do a change of building structures, to fix up a building would be the best way to solve the life noise interference. This study is on a probe into the floor impact sound insulation by well-mixed ceiling used in interior decoration, and to find the sound insulation effects of the ceiling materials and the airspace thickness between ceiling and floor slab. An effective FEM prediction model is demonstrated on the basis of the results that its trend of 1/3 Oct. SPL diagram is fitting well to the on-site experiment and the regression correlation coefficient is 0.9067. The effects of ceiling airspace thickness and sound absorptive ceiling materials upon light weight floor impact sound insulation are shown as follows: the sound insulation is about 19-21 dB by use of ceiling materials with different sound absorption coefficients, and is about 9-11 dB by change of the airspace thickness. |
