Dart throwing is a recreational and healthy in-door exercise without the needs of special facilities, nor restricted in age, gender, or the climate. Dart throwing not only can help stretch limbs but also enhance concentration and body coordination. In this literature review, we explore the related knowledge and recent research findings of the dart throwing. It reveals that though dart throwing seems to be a simple and recreational exercise, the performance might be influenced by many factors, such as strength of throwing, restriction of environments (ex. visual restriction, throwing distance and angle restriction), concentration and mental feedback. Besides, the potential factors influencing dart throwing performance will be discussed in the end of the paper. |
