The study utilized a four-group quasi-experimental design and the interview method to collect data. The participants of the experimental group were those who took the "creative career planning course"in the fall semester, 2007. Results showed that the student subjects in the experimental group were satisfied with the course and there was significant difference between the experimental group and the control group. They perceived that the learning climate was creative, vivid, and challenging. The course not only was helpful in their career decision efficacy, but also enhanced their capability in interpersonal relationship, communication skills, time management, and oral presentation. Besides, they were able to use creative methods to solve problems, and therefore, were more tolerated to stress and more confident in future career success. |
