The purpose of this research is to evaluate the spirit of great love by Dharma Master Cheng Yen of the Tzu Chi Foundation in terms of Habitual Domains Theory and Metalogy. This research employs literature analysis to evaluate and select the monthly documents of Tzu Chi from its official website. Four phases of data processing and analyzing were conducted through computer-assisted qualitative data analysis software-NVivo 10. The finding of this research is Dharma Master Cheng Yen’s life story and the spirit of great love of the Tzu Chi Foundation matches the most of the theoretical concepts of Habitual Domains and Metalogy. Suggestions for future research were provided—to investigate and analyze the Tzu Chi’s four major missions and eight footprints, and compare with the theoretical viewpoints of Habitual Domains and Metalogy |
