This paper discusses the concept of life world of preschool teachers, whose conflict with colleagues and parents is the central issue. First, the author argues that educational study is not pure macro-oriented only such as policy analysis and ideological formation, but rather synchronic with actually socio-historical process and daily-life baseline in the micro level. Consequently, this paper is in favor of the view that culture-ininteraction and the cultural construction of emotion may be the window for an investigation of the schoolteachers’ life world. To argue for this view, a focus on the narratives of teachers’ life is insufficient. We have to systematically analyze the logic of practice behind cooperation and conflict in certain context via cultural studies. |
